Jag got a lot more from Val's touch than from his words, through no fault of Val. He simply couldn't be talked out of feeling the way he was feeling, but touch always helped. And that Val would touch him willingly, after what he'd just told him, that said something, something real. He looked back up into his eyes, and gave him a small smile. "Thank you.
