Val sighed, then shrugged. "I suppose not, I just don't- I don't want you to hate my family, alright? They're always going to be a part of my life. It's the same reason I wanted you to warm to my lifestyle a bit. It's not just part of who I am now, it's my future. One day, hopefully not anytime soon, that estate is going to be mine.
