"Mind my teeth," he mumbled, sounding equal parts amused and annoyed by the warning. Chris made himself quite comfortable, pushing around blankets and pillows, then settling in on top of Val to kiss him. He'd had every intention of diving in before nerves could take hold but then he'd looked down and really saw the naked man beneath him and he was so taken. He paused to kiss him, to nuzzle the softness of his hair, then kiss again where he was bruised.
"You have me quite curious as to what you've gotten up to to be so bruised," he said, leaving the question to hang if Val didn't want to answer to his activities.
