"I'll get you out of your head," Chris offered. "I'm very good at that."

The wolf was prowling, circling Chris like prey in his mind.

Stepping back, he smiled and began to unbutton his own shirt. "Tell me more. Tell me what else you like."

Chris took his and then impetuously reached to touch Val's cheek, cradling his jaw. He kissed him sweetly with his eyes closed so he could focus on the sensation.

Then he pulled away and lifted his glass.

"To a lovely new friendship."

Val liked to be touched and kissed. He liked attention and praise... He was a glutton for being liked.

"One that will only get stronger," he added cheerfully.

He agreed to that with a smile and a nod, then sipped his brandy. It was potent...and not the best thing to have on top of the medications he'd just taken. Chris found himself growing drowsy rather quickly.

"This is an excellent bottle," he said, forcing himself to be a bit more clear headed.

"Strong," Val warned, reaching to take the glass from the other man. "Come on. To bed with you."

"And you, too," he replied, smiling to himself as they made it back tot he bedroom. Val's bed was so striking- unlike anything he'd ever seen- yet it suited the man so perfectly.

Chris was quite pliant as he sand into the bed and burrowed under the covers.

"You too," he said again, his eyes so very heavy.

Crawling into bed, Val settled in close, wrapping himself around the other man and yawning as he got comfortable.

"Sleep well, handsome," he murmured.

Chris slipped into a relaxed state, content to hodl Val and breathe him in. He didn't smell like anyone he'd ever met, not that he typically noticed that sort of thing, but there was something about him that made Chris feel...safe. Content. Special. He was sure he could easily get used to sharing Val's bed.
