"I'll get you out of your head," Chris offered. "I'm very good at that."

The wolf was prowling, circling Chris like prey in his mind.

Stepping back, he smiled and began to unbutton his own shirt. "Tell me more. Tell me what else you like."

"Hold me," he gasped, fingers clutching at Val's shoulder. He kissed along the man's jaw, caught in the moment by the wiry softness of his stubble. His head was spinning and all he knew was that he wanted to come...and more than that, he wanted to be the reason Val came apart.

One arm slipped firmly around Chris, Keeping him close and embracing him tightly. The other, however, slid between their bodies, taking himself in hand with a low rumble of a moan.

"I've got you," he panted. "Feel that? I've got you, Chris."

He shivered a little and trailed his lips over Val's jaw, his breath hot as it poured over the man's skin.

"Oh, bloody...God, Val...God," he gasped, moving faster, just a bit faster, coaxed on by the sensation of Val's knuckles against his belly.

Val choked on a moan, then pulled Chris down towards him and bit down on the other man's shoulder as he came hard and fast.

Jade had never hurt him. And Val's teeth hurt, no bones about it. Chris cried out in shock but everything was too fast, too jumbled up, and between the pain and the sound and the clench and the gush of wet heat and the tension and his own pace Chris found himself coming hard and fast and without much warning at all.

"Oh, Oh, God...Oh-oh, bloody hell fuck," he stammered, heaving and panting as he fell apart.

Val growled, but slowly let go, going somewhat boneless on the mattress, and looking very pleased as he caught his breath.

Chris slowly, slowly withdrew and then sank down to the bed beside Val. He held him close and pressed kiss after kiss to the soft, warm skin of his chest and shoulder as he regained his senses.

"That was remarkable," he said in a tone so understated that it was obvious he meant something much stronger. Something like 'incredible' or 'mind-blowing'.

"It was wonderful," Val agreed, turning his head to try and steal a kiss.

He gladly kissed him, lingering there to taste him and to explore the softness of his lips, the roughness of his whiskers, the taste of him. He made no mistake, there was hardly love here, but in this moment where the afterglow was bright Chris felt quite smitten and affectionate.

"You're welcome to stay tonight, if you like," he offered softly.

"That's very kind of you, but I don't have my medication with me," he replied softly, stealing another kiss. "Another time, maybe with a bit more planning, yes? I'd like to see you again."

Val didn't ask what sort of medication that might be, but he did pout a bit. The wolf hated sleeping alone.

"Whatever it is, I'm sure I could get you some. I have a doctor on call... Well, the family does. He can get nearly anything sent over," he purred, doing his best to be tempting. "Don't go. I don't want to be alone after that," he murmured, nuzzling the man's neck as he spoke.

It was terribly flattering and Chris went a bit weak as Val nuzzled in close.

"Do you really think...?" he started, then sighed softly. "I could give him the names and dosages...then I could stay."

Val grinned, pleased to get his own way, then nodded as he moved to grab his phone.

He spent only a moment talking to the doctor, then held the phone out in offering. "Just tell him what you need and he'll have someone send them over within the next hour. I'm going to hop in the shower while you sort it out."

And so Chris did, giving the doctor his diagnosis and medications in hushed tones, then thanking the man for being so accommodating.

"It's no bother. I'll have the runner there within the hour," the man said, then bid Chris a good night with a tone to his voice that seemed a bit...conspiratorial.

Chris slowly followed the sound of the shower and spied Val through the glass. He was...truly stunning.

Val smelled him before he saw him, turning towards the glass to put himself on full display.

"You coming in?" he asked, turning on the second shower head. "There's plenty of room for two."

Chris hesitated only a moment and then eased into the shower with Val.

"Your home is really quite posh. I don't have two shower heads," he chuckled. "Though I do have a very nice tea kettle."

That could have been the least shocking confession in all of England tonight.

"Is it? I suppose so. I have to admit, I'm spoiled. I hardly notice the nice things I have," Val confessed.

"You should take the time to appreciate things," Chris said. "For whatever reason. For their beauty or their value or usefulness, or how pleasant it feels to have more water..." he smiled. "I try to be thankful for at least three things every day."

"Oh? And what are you thankful for today?" Val asked, tipping his head back and letting the pray of hot water wash over him.

"I'm thankful I met you," he said, easing in closer to touch Val gently. "And I'm so thankful I didn't...that I didn't...Sometimes anxiety gets the best of me so I'm thankful that didn't happen tonight. I'm so thankful we've had this chance."

"I'm thankful for all of that too," Val grinned. "How lucky I am that you were in that pub. I would have hated to spend a night alone- And I'd have never known your company."

Chris smiled at that and moved against him, slick skin sliding easily. In the light of the bathroom his tattoos were much more clear, the details of the letters and the optical illusion of skin tearing away popping with clarity.

"I would very much like to see you again. I don't expect anything- my schedule doesn't allow for much, truly- but I enjoy you and this was...thrilling."
